Antique Vintage Large Glass Sweet Jar, Apothecary Jar. No2. Standing 35cm tall and a maximum of 12cm wide, and weighs 1.85kg. The jar glass has no cracks or chips and has a ground area inside the neck and on the lid for sealing. Some small bubbles are in the glass which is common amongst items of this age. The shape of the lid is round where it sits in the jars neck and has a pattern of triangles to the upper part. The main body of the jar is eight sided but not a regular octagon, it has four large and four small sides. The underside marked FDD (or FOO) and 0249.
